Follow these tips to enjoy a perfect hot cup of tea.
Use 1 teaspoon of loose tea per cup
Use fresh filtered water If possible, use fresh spring water. When a spring source is not available an acceptable alternative is filtered water. Why? Stale or reboiled water has less oxygen to assist with infusing the tea. As well, heated chlorine can be quite strong and will alter the taste of your tea.
Use appropriate temperature water For green and white tea: 160°F/71°C For all others: boiling Why? If water is too hot for green tea, the flavor becomes unbalanced—it tastes bitter or stringent.
