Shipping Update: Canada Post Strike – October 24, 2025
Canada Post workers are on nationwide rotating strikse in response to federal reforms that include ending home delivery, closing post offices, and reducing service standards.
This means deliveries through Canada Post may be delayed or disrupted until further notice.
What this means for your order:
- Delays are likely if you choose to ship with Canada Post.
- If your package is time sensitive Please choose UPS for shipping until regular service resumes.
- Rural and community mailbox addresses may see longer than normal wait times.
- Free shipping: If your package qualifies for free shipping, it may be shipped Canada Post and will be subject to delays. Please opt for a paid service if your package is time sensitive.
Important: UPS cannot deliver to PO Boxes. Please update your shipping address to a physical location.
Shipping to rural or smaller areas with UPS may cost more. Whenever possible, we recommend arranging local pick-up.
Free Local Pick-Up (Edmonton + Area)
You can choose free pick-up from:
- Rogue Wave Coffee (south of Blatchford)
- Daisy Chain Book Co. (High Street / 124 Street)
Orders are dropped off at least twice a week. No minimums apply for pick-up.
Subscriptions
December subscription orders will be put on hold if there is no lettermail delivery.
