For the curious drinker who wants more than “just black tea.”

Black tea is a whole world of flavour, and this kit gives you an easy way to explore how wildly different one category can be. Soil composition, weather, elevation, processing style, and even the tea cultivar itself all play a role in defining what ends up in your cup. It’s the same plant every time, yet somehow you get everything from bold malt to honey, cherry, spice, floral notes, cocoa and more.

Inside this sampler you’ll find four premium loose leaf black teas, each packed in a 20 g pouch and ready to steep. Each kit includes:
 • A printed tasting guide
 • A comparison sheet
 • A tasting notes page so you can record what you discover

Whether you’re building your palate, training your team, or just want to taste something unforgettable, this set helps you taste side by side and decide what speaks to you.

The Teas Included

Taiwan Assam #8 (Organic)

Sun Moon Lake, Nantou County, Taiwan • 700 m • Cultivar: TRES #8
A refined Taiwanese take on the classic Assam profile. Expect cooked stone fruit, honey, bourbon sweetness, and a velvety body with much less punch and tannin than a traditional Indian Assam. Elegant, aromatic and incredibly layered.

Doomni Estate SFTGFOP

Assam, India • 250 m • Cultivar: Panitola-126A
A powerhouse of malt, dried fruit, and rich sweetness. Known as one of the most respected orthodox Assams, with golden tips and a deep creamy texture. Bold enough for milk but rewarding on its own if you enjoy a strong, structured cup.

Dianhong Yunnan Gold (Organic)

Lincang, Yunnan, China • 900-1500 m • Cultivar: Fengqing Daye GSCT13
Golden buds, soft texture, and remarkable smoothness. Notes of spice, herbs, honey, gentle malt, and a lingering finish. Balanced and complex without bitterness. A must-taste example of how refined Chinese black tea can be.

Shangri-La Gold (Organic)

Ilam District, Nepal • 1400-1700 m
Delicate, high-mountain character with light malt, soft cocoa, dried leaf aroma, and a hint of rose. Lightly astringent but highly forgiving to brew, making it a good entry point into high-elevation Himalayan black teas. Smooth, uplifting, and beautifully made.
