Doke Black Fusion (org)

A full leaf twisted leaf from the Doke Tea Estate in Bihar, India, owned by the Lochan family of Lochan Tea Ltd. Bihar Province is located south of the Himalayas, south west of Darjeeling. The Doke Estate is in the north east corner of Bihar, close to Sikkim & Darjeeling.

 The tea is produced from all Assamica tea leaves, and is processed by hand, which creates the wiry twisted structure of the dry leaf. Doke Tea Estate grows with all-natural techniques, and is fed by water from the newly-revitalized Dahuk River. 

The tea has a sweet honey character with low astringency. The aroma is a combination of sweet caramel and malty roast notes. The liquor steeps a bright reddish amber colour, that the light reflects through with a sparkling glow. This tea can re-steep 2-3 times, the colour will be lighter with each infusion. Make sure to increase the temperature and time with each subsequent steeping.
