Hojicha Powder (org) - Shizuoka

A widely enjoyed beverage in Japan, Hojicha is a green tea that undergoes a short roasting process which imbues it with a unique color and a taste that is rich in woody notes and nutty undertones. Whisked simply with hot water, it makes for a delicious cup. But the latte form of Hojicha is gaining popularity, and it is made by using powdered Hojicha instead of the usual tea leaves, following the same steps as a Matcha latte. It is the perfect warm beverage on a dreary day. For added flavour, try a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder!
