Mint Gunpowder - TEA VAULT

This blend is in the Tea Vault, and is out of regular inventory rotation.  You can still order this blend with minimum quantity 250g and a lead time of 2 weeks. Once in a while, a tea may come out of the vault for a limited time, when smaller amounts can be ordered until the tea is sold out again.

A blast of fresh mint flavour on a tight curled organic green tea from Zhejiang, China. The mint aroma is brisk and clearing, while the tea bears a light smoky musk and bitterness paired with a minty fresh sweet breath.

Green gunpowder tea has dominated the Chinese export market into Maghreb for the use in making mint tea. Fresh mint combined with green tea is a traditional drink of the area, most notably, Morocco. This blend emulates the flavour of this infusion, and packs a strong minty punch when brewed.
