Cornflowers

Cornflowers are extremely colourful hardy annuals flowers. They are also commonly known as ‘bachelor’s buttons’ for their use historically as a boutonniere flower. The flowers are a small blossom on long skinny stems, perfect for this use. Blue is the most common colour, but cornflowers also come in white, pink, purple, red.
